Friendly lady on reception. We arrived earlier than the check in time, although our room wasn’t ready, she gave us a different family room that was ready. She was really helpful too with advice on how to get to Wembley stadium. £15 for car parking, definitely worth it as this was in a locked area joined to the accommodation, so the cars are secure. Room was perfect for our one night stay. Kettle, tea, coffee etc available in room. Plenty of towels for all of us. Shower room a good size. Check out at 11am meant no rushing around in the morning. A Wetherspoons right opposite, reasonably priced food and drinks. Train station to Wembley no more than a 10 minute walk.

The Windmill is a wonderful place to stay. We came to go to Wembley. The Windmill is only 4 stops on the Jubilee line which also goes straight into central London so perfect location at a decent price. Right from the start the communication was brilliant agreeing the time we would arrive and arranging car parking. Super helpful and friendly. Beyond this the Windmill is not just a hotel but it has a great feel with a light and airy bar. The bedrooms are of a good size with high ceilings and were clean and comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was lovely. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely building - loved the stained glass windows going up the stairs. The staff sent entry information via the booking.com app and text which were easy to follow.. The room was clean and presented really nicely. Loved that there was kettle and tea/coffee/milk. There were towles, and the bathroom also had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The shower heated up well. The bed and pillows were very comfy. When I came back on the second night, the bed had been remade, and a new towel had been put out. The main road has a good selection of green grocer's and fast food places as Mcdonald's and KFC are nearby.

The Windmill is a 10-15min walk from Kilburn Station (London Underground), which takes you right into the city. You can also choose to go by bus (the bus station is right in front of the hotel). Alternatively, you can catch a cab via Uber and Bolt - I never had any trouble getting one within 5 min, no matter what time of the day. There's clearly a trade-off between the price of the hotel and it's location on outskirts of London. However, you won't find a much better value for money. The Windmill is a simple but wonderful place to stay and Christin, the owner, is an outstanding host. I'll be back!

Booked for one night as we weren't sure the location was right for our needs. We were booked into Ronnie Scotts. It was easy to get to Central London, on bus and tube 1/2 hour. The room was clean and modern, and the bed was VERY comfortable. The lady who runs the place was lovely, smiley, and really helpful. (I forgot to ask her name, sorry)we ended up staying a second night even though we hadn't planned it! We were very happy with everything. If you are looking for a good priced hotel, this is a great place to stay, no frills but great!
